Adults with Learning Disabilities Learning disabilities do not just occur in children. Children with learning disabilities grow up to be adults with learning disabilities. Furthermore, many adults with learning disabilities were never diagnosed as children. Challenges in college, in graduate school, and in the increasingly technical and competitive workplace force people to confront issues of learning disability that interfere with success.
